CHS is partnering with the Health Ministries Team to reach out to the community and enroll as many potential members as possible.  To do this, a CHS staff person and a Health Ministries member will be present at the date and locations listed below.  The CHS staff will be there to offer information and assistance to those who are interested in our program, while the Health Ministries Member will provide free health screening tests such as blood pressure and BMI.  Time: 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM

April 28:
Location: Walmart (Dunkirk) 10600 Towne Center Blvd.

April 29:
Location: Food Lion (Prince Frederick) 750 N Prince Frederick Blvd.

April 30:
Location: Walmart (Prince Frederick) 150 Solomons Island Rd.

May 1:
Location: Giant (Lusby) 11740 Rousby Hall Rd.

Additional Enrollment Opportunities:
The Calvert County Department of Social Services is also contributing to our efforts for the week by being present at the Prince Frederick Library (850 Costly Way)  from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Monday through Friday (April 28 - May 2) of Cover the Uninsured Week.  

Furthermore, to kick off the week, on Sunday, April 27th enrollment kits will be available at participating churches throughout the county.

What is it? Liquid Jazz is an event situated at the end of Cover the Uninsured Week to celebrate the steps that we are taking to improving ourselves as a county and to recognize all that still remains to be accomplished.  One of our largest fundraisers, it is an opportunity for us to raise both community awareness, and the financial resources that we need to provide services to our members.
