Dominion Presents Check to Calvert Healthcare Solutions

Dominion Resources, Inc., parent company of Dominion Cove Point, recently donated $25,000 to Calvert Healthcare Solutions as part of a $1 million dollar donation program to healthcare providers in 14 states.  “Calvert Healthcare Solutions is truly grateful to Dominion for recognizing the value our program provides to the low-income residents of our county, “ said Jon S. Frank, president of the non-profit.  “Our model connects participants with community doctors.  Dominion’s donation will help support the generosity of our community providers.  “This contribution towards the health of our citizens who are unable to afford medical exams and care during the economic downturn demonstrates to us that Dominion is a part of our community and is dedicated to health and welfare of the region and nation,” said Calvert County Board of County Commissioners President Wilson H. Parran [D].
